By getting a job you will have three advantages: you will have produced your own income, gained experience, and learn the value of a dollar. Working will also give you time to think about your future if you are unsure about your future plans. It is a waste of money and time to go to college if you don't have a vision of what you want to do. College is not always necessary and does not always equal more money. The amount of money you can earn depends on your ability to be productive. If you are driven you can succeed. However, for some technical occupations such as engineering and medicine a degree is necessary. I hope this helps.

∙ 13y agoYou need better education to get a decent job. Without a college education, it's very hard to get a very good salary. Just getting an associates degree will increase your income. Furthermore, nowadays with a shortage of jobs, companies are much more likely to hire you if you have a college education than if you do not, even if the degree has nothing to do with what they're hiring you for. The degree shows that you're willing to put in the work necessary to accomplish something. So, going to college after high school will help whether you use the stuff you learn or not.
