"A Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley has been banned in various countries at different points in time, including Ireland, India, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and several states in the United States. Reasons for the ban have ranged from concerns about its portrayal of sex and drugs to fears of political or social criticism.

The book is anti system and among all things it criticizes religions and addictions, such as drug addictions, shopping addictions or even lifestyles. The thing is that it also makes you think and criticize the lifestyle of the place you live in... and that my friend, is "dangerous" for some people. That's why is banned.

It is too damned controversial and involves sacrilege in the name of the Industrialist Henry Ford. there are plants topped with a twisted cross made like the letter T in the Ford Model T, enough already! This is not done in a humorous vein. I know of a graduate telecommunications engineer who condemned the tome for it"s Big Brother angtles also and said it was (Too frightening) for popular usage. agreed!
