Why is Australia considered the lucky country?

Answer:
Throughout its short history, Australia has been a land that promises new opportunities. It is a land of religious and political freedom, with a relatively low unemployment rate. Education and health standards are high, and the majority of the population enjoys a good standard of living.
It is ironic that, for the original indigenous Australians, their standards of health, education and living in general are the lowest of any social group.
