Why is Harry Potter affected by the killing curse in the forest if he is the master of the elder wand The elder wand refuses to kill it's master right? |
[Edit] |
The master can not be defeated in a duel. However, Harry was not dueling. He willingly chose to be hit by the killing curse. After seeing Snape's memories, he left Dumbledore's office and went into the woods with the express intention of allowing Voldemort to kill him. The wand was conforming to its master's wishes when it cast the curse.
