Inspite of rich natural resources why India is still considered as an underdeveloped country?

it has been 64 years since India got freedom &from then India is being defined as developing country.our ancistors , our parents,we everyone have been studying the same.but how many of us actually questioned ourselves as to WHY INDIA IS STILL A DEVELOPING COUNTRY? but friends i have thought about it &i have been searching for the root cause.THE causes i found out are:

• corrouption which have been rooted in our country since many years.
• illitracy which is in turn the root cause for anti social activities like child marriages &also for the irrational superstitious belives of our citizens in rural&agency areas of our country
• non availability of our vast technology to each&every citizen of our country the vast technology we have today is just confined to rural areas.computers&televisions have become the basic requirements in present world.but there are people who dosen' about these.
• lack of social development most of us are very previleged that we away from illitracy&many irrational social belives.But many of our fellow citizens are still bound to these unwanted things &are making their llife misirable. all this is due to lack of awarness of the importance of education& disvantages of these irrational social belives & ofcourse their foolishness.
• lack of responsibility towards country we have become very selfish .we have becom very irresponsible towards our country whic has given us an identity as an Indian.we have become so mean that we just think only about our growth & welfare but not about our fellow citizens.

Finally friends this is our country our motherland &it is we who have to save our country from these unwanted clutches lift high & show the world that"THIS IS INDIA".ONE OF THE MOST DEVELOPED COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD.

Several general reasons:

Lack of proper sanitation, housing, electricity and water supply, due to rampancy of squatters and slums in India.

Lack of proper communications networks, roads, public amenities.

Rampant diseases and deaths, also a lot of infant mortality, once again largely due to the lack of hygiene of the slums. Basically there is a root problem of overpopulation in India, but not enough resources to support the growing population. Perhaps it might be unwise management of monetary resources to manage the country, but either way India is not developing its infrastructure in time to keep up with its population growth. Many poor rural people who come to the urban cities of India to find a better life are unable to find proper housing, thus create their own dwellings in squatters and slums.
