Jeffree Star. He's not. He's a rarity, a gay transvestite and self proclaimed 'gender-bender.' A transsexual wants to change their appearance and sexual organs to be that of the sex opposite of what they were proclaimed to be at birth. They want to be happy home makers or bread winners or the family next door.

Mr. Star appears to want to be a much bigger, much more antagonistic RuPaul and causes people to pay attention much like David Bowie did as 'Ziggy Stardust' - by playing on society's sense of boy and girl and ... He wants to be a big star and that takes glitter and paparazzi and excitement. He has done some cross-gender modeling and is very much a singer, but is in no way a transsexual.
