Because Sony made the ps3 to their specifications with hardware created by themselves. They keep a lock on all things Sony and it will always be this way.
Maybe in the future they will sell or lease to hardware to PC makers.
the nexus one can use 802.11b and g and it is capable of using n but google have yet to activate it it seems the hardware is there for it
No, not yet.
Not released yet.
Not yet, in fact, PlayStation Portable 2 (or Next Generation Portable, whichever takes your fancy) isn't even out yet, let alone PlayStation Portable 3!
not yet, but all ps2 games are coming soon, that's why they got rid of the backwards compatibility, so you pay again for game you have already got. They could not keep backward compatibility for many reasons and the games that you buy as downloads are developed for the PS3 even if they were former PS2 titles. Resident Evil 2 however is a Playstation title as a Playstation title it works on both the PS2 and PS3 because it is nowhere near as difficult to use emulation on a Playstation game. It is also a Capcom game and most of the Playstation downloads available are Sony games
Yes it is still a beta program, but it is available to use or browse if you have the Playstation Network
No, not yet any way.
