The Ancient Mariner,on his journey kills the albatross which leads the ship to the right route. In a way, he goes against nature and disrespectful towards it. Hence, he is doomed to tell his tale over and over. There is a parallelism between Ancient Mariner,Walton and Victor Frankenstein. Walton is also disrespectful to nature insisting that his ship stay stuck in the polar ice because of his "great purpose" to reach to North Pole. Frankenstein , by making a mockery of what God did, creates "the monster" and tells his tale to Walton. We can interpret that the quest for knowledge and glory, and defying God & Nature are the things that links these 3 characters to one another.

· Frankenstein gives life to the Creature, but the Mariner takes life away from the Albatross.

· Everyone knew who killed the albatross vs. No one was sure who really killed or framed William, Justine, Elizabeth, or Clerval.

The Story About Coleridge, Wordsworth and Mary Shelley.

It is just a story, but there is a story about Samuel Taylor Coleridge, William Wordsworth and Mary Shelley. One day on a beautiful fine evening, they were walking along a sea shore when they came across a stretch of sand where the waves had created a strange wavy pattern on the sand. We all know that poets have the strangest of notions, ideas and imagination. Seeing this ribbed sea sand Coleridge commented, 'it seems like the ribs of an old man lying dying there'. There ensued a heated debate on what is Horror, at the end of which each of them promised to write a horror piece to show to the others. Wordsworth was the weakest among them in such matters. He wrote The Stolen Boat which has not been heard to have caused fear ever in anyone anywhere any time. Coleridge's The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner terrorised even himself. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein still continues to terrorise the world. Coleridge in his poem has also used the very words, the ribbed sea sand.

Is the rime of mariner how to Frankenstein?

Frankenstein is addicted to knowledge in his younger years leading to his creation. The mariner is cursed by knowledge because he must enlighten people on his desolate tale such as the wedding guest. This brings up the Prometheus factor because they both went past the bounds that humans should go....Victor with the creature and the Mariner with killing the albatross.

What do sailors believe about the albatross?

Because albatrosses depend on the wind to fly and sailors depend on the wind to sail, the albatross became a good omen to sailors. The albatross features in a poem about what happened to a sailor when he killed an albatross. The poem is called 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'.

Who is Robert Walton and why is he writing to his sister?

He is lonely and is very close with his sister. Walton's story is very similar to that of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, in that it is likely that he has also had some kind of falling out with his crew. The letters are also Mary Shelley's way of opening and closing the story in a way that makes sense. It is theorized that Robert Walton was also beginning to find himself driven a little bit mad, and thus his perspective of the story is possibly a little bit warped. Writing to his sister was likely a way to prevent his psyche from degenerating any more quickly.

Where can you catch Giratina in Pokemon Platinum?

Go into Turn-back cave, and keep taking the passages that are at the top and center, or follow the direction where the rocks lead you to the three pillars don't have to destroy the rocks with rock smash or you'll get off course. Eventually you'll see Giratina on a platform. Be sure to have a Pokemon with Rock Smash, and have plenty of Ultra Balls/Dusk Balls. Giratina's level 70. Another option is to weaken palkia and catch it with an ultra bqall and keep your master ball for giratina! Excellent! ;)
