Because any list of the all time hardest hitting players in the game will include him and all the other guys on the list are line backers. I think John Lynch was a pretty hard hitting db too, so it may be debatable, but boy oh boy did Ronnie bring it. I remember one game against KC where KC just kept pounding Christian Okoye right up the middle. Play after play Ronnie came running up at full speed to fill the hole with a head on collision with Okoye who was also at full speed. 3 times Ronnie had to be helped off the field. Okoye might actually say Steve Atwater when he played Denver hit him harder, but that was just one hit. Ronnie hit like that for more than a decade! See any discussion board on hard hitting NFL players you like Ronnie's name will be there: http://2ksports.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-14604.html http://answers.Yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080828154855AAdALFx
