Trisodium phosphate (TSP), available at most hardware stores in white powder form, is a cleaning agent, stain remover and degreaser, commonly used to prepare surfaces for painting. It can also be called trisodium orthophosphate and has the chemical formula Na3PO4; however, it is generally found in hydrated forms. It is a highly water-soluble ionic salt. Solutions of it dissolved in water have an alkaline pH. It can also be found as a food additive; it is used as an acidity regulator (buffering agent), emulsifier, thickening agent, nutrition enlargement agent and sequestrant (metal-chelating agent). In these uses, all sodium phosphates may be collectively referred to as sodium phosphate, or by E number E339. The same is true when sold as an enema, working as a laxative to treat constipation. Sodium phosphate enemas are sold over-the-counter in the United States. However, it should not be confused with the related compounds sodium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as monosodium phosphate or MSP, and disodium hydrogen phosphate. Info. Source: Wikipedia
The compound with formula Na3PO4 is named "sodium phosphate", "trisodium phosphate", "sodium ortho-phosphate", or "trisodium ortho-phosphate".
Trisodium phosphate turns oils and grease into soap through a process called saponification.
Yes.
When trisodium phosphate is dissolved in water, it produces a solution whose pH can be up to 12.5; as an acid is a chemical whose pH is below 7, trisodium phosphate cleaner doesn't contain any acid.
Yes. Selleys Sugar Soap is the brand name for trisodium phosphate. However it is no longer available in Australia, it is only exported. Selleys sugar soap is now in liquid form only.

I see trisodium phosphate listed as an ingredient in the following breakfast cereals:Cinnamon Toast CrunchGolden GrahamsHoneycomb (cereal)Lucky CharmsI notice that it is not straightforward to find a list of ingredients of cereals on the Web. Some sites simply show a graphic of the list of ingredients, so searching by the name of the ingredient does not find the page.
Trisodium phosphate can be purchased at almost any hardware store, paint store, or lumber yard. The Home Depot has a selection of trisodium phosphate, and is used as a degerent.

None! Trisodium phosphate is the end produce of neutralizing phosphoric acid with sodium hydroxide. So, no further reaction is possible.
