Why is WikiAnswers so bad at identifying categories to questions?

Because it is performed by a program which doesn't actually understands the question (heck, half of the questions doesn't make sense at all), only searches for some keywords, and categorizes by those.

In my opinion, there are no such things as 'Bad Questions'. And as such, they shouldn't be answered with 'Bad Answers'. I agree. I tell my students that if there were a bad question, it would be the one that wasn't asked.

People do not want to get an answer from someone who is in a bad mood, or from someone who just wants to make them feel bad by writing 'duh', when it wasn't obvious. Even if it was obvious, you are not allowed to write 'duh' or anything else with a bad attitude on WikiAnswers.
