That has to do with how colour is seen. What happens is black absorbs all light (theoretically, in reality some light is reflected otherwise we wouldn't see it), which shows our eyes nothing. White reflects all light, which shows our eyes white. Black, absorbing all light, stores a massive amount of heat as radiation (no not like Radioactive Waste radiation), which is then radiated out. Basically, black gets hot faster because it absorbs more light.
All solid colors reflect the sun light at different levels, white being one of the most reflective. The reason that black gets hotter is because black absorbs all visible light; this is also the reason it appears black.
I believe it's because lighter colors reflect the sun's rays and heat, while darker colors tend to absorb the heat.
The color black absorbs a larger percentage of sunlight.
Because darker colors absorb more heat.
It's hotter today than it was yesterday. She's so much hotter with a tank on. It's gotten a lot hotter in here. Can we turn the air on?
No
Yes. A white shirt reflects more sunlight than a black one which absorbs it. Absorbed sunlight is converted into heat.
Yes black ink radiates more heat than white paper. This is because more heat is absorbed by black ink more than white paper and it is required to radiates more heat due to its heat capacity
The black ball has greater mass. Mass is the product of volume and density.
Black asphalt becomes hotter than a white cement sidewalk by one thing. The reason it gets hotter is because black attracts heat.
Because black is a dark color and if a car is dark colored the more hotter it gets. It all has to do with the pigmintation. Its the same thing with clothes.
Dark shingles will usually create more heat in the attic then a lighter color. Something black gets hotter then something white.
Because black absorbs heat and white reflects it off.
Black is a much more absorbent color.
Black car gets hotter than the silver car?
yes
Because black attracts heat. Same goes for clothing.
Yes, black absorbs light from the sun. The white reflect more so it is less likely to be as hot
Black absorbs heat, while white reflects the heat and remains slightly cooler.
Its colour. White stars are hotter than blue stars which are hotter than yellow which are hotter than orange, which are hotter than red.
Blue or purple stars are hotter than the whites
