The Temple Mount is the location of the first and second Jewish Temples. By tradition it is also known as Mount Moriah where Abraham was asked by God to sacrifice his son Isaac. It is also the traditional location of "Jacob's Ladder".

It is the most important geographic location to the Jewish people, and where according to prophecy the third and final temple will be built in the near future.
