to determine how much federal funding each county gets. so they know what areas need more money and for what. also so they know how much to tax at all levels. it affects the budget... i cant believe this is a serious question...
my question is how are you able to function a computer and not figure out on your own at least one reason why the government would want to know why how many people are living in the country...
