Witches were important in ancient times because they did most of the jobs in villages , they protected people, like police ,healed people like doctors,they had connection with the gods , and they could hex thieves , but in the 13-17 centuary some people believed they should be killed because they had too much power and could hex anyone or curse anyone! That is why so many people believe even today that witches are evil but they infact origionally weren't
