The fact is that btJunkie is entirely LEGALbecause there is NO LAW PROHIBITING the existence of btJunkie. Do you understand? No law has come down specifically banning torrents. And there will NEVERbe a law banning torrents. The technology is too valuable to ban it. Can't be done within the parameters of the global internet. Of course, someone will break that rule immediately.
We need to dial back the illegality rhetoric regarding btjunkie. It is what it is.
BTJunkie does not currently provide any services, as they have discontinued their business. They used to be an illegal torrent site, where members could download pirated material.
BTJunkie was created in 2005.
BTJunkie ended in 2012.

BTJunkie was a torrent site that provided peer to peer downloads of various media uploaded by users from around the world. This includes movies, televisions shows, sporting events, TV shows, even video games and software. The site shut itself down voluntarily in February 2012.
1. download a bittorrent client such as u-torrent 2. go to a torrent website such as btjunkie or piratebay 3 download. be careful as downloading some programs can be illegal based on copywrites and stuff like that.

As you received a nearly entirely illiterate answer first time round I felt compelled to re-answer for you. The legality of both running the site and using the site is hardly as clear cut as previously suggested, and an honest answer would be 'noone really knows'. Torrenting is downloading from thousands of different sources to get the single file that you want, so by it's very nature it is hard to A) prove anything and B) be caught. I think it probably is illegal. However, the prices people are charged for music/films/games nowadays should be illegal too. If musicians, publishers, developers etc just put more effort into turning out quality products worth the asking price they'd suffer less from illegal downloading. The fact is, you can't charge over the odds for shoddy merchandise and not expect and element of illegal acquisition of your wares.
