The Buddha rejected any notion of a supreme or creator God as outside of his intent to help people cope with suffering in this world. He believed that any vereration or worship of a Supreme God, is just another form of attachment that leads to suffering since we would be hoping and praying for this unseen deity to help us instead of us relying upon ourselves.

Answer:

Atheist means "no god" so Buddhiss are more non-theist. There is nothing in Buddhist practice or belief that requires the presence of a deity or sees any benefit from the denial of the existence of a deity. It just doesn't matter. Wasting time thinking about gods (an effort that will not have any resolution) is basically seen as a waste of time as your efforts can be better spent learning to live according to the Eightfold Path. As an aside, the presence of a deity in the Universe will not help or hinder your acheivement of enlightenment.

What is the name of the Buddhism god?

Buddha never bothered about God. In fact Buddhism is an atheistic religion like Jainism. Later the followers of Buddha made him a God. Only after Mahayana Buddhism came he was made God. In Hinayana Buddhism Buddha was not a God. There is reference, though, in Buddhist text, to the "First Cause." Since God is the Creator of the universe and all that is therein, then God is the First Cause.
