Plants take in the Carbon Dioxide. They use the process of photosynthesis to produce their own food. They also release Oxygen into the air. Trees also grow off of Carbon Dioxide. The trees store the carbon dioxide within them. That is why when a tree dies, so much Carbon Dioxide is released back into the atmosphere.
yes its important
though not directly but what we exhale is carbon dioxide and plants need it for making their food
plants take in co2 and with the help of chlorophyll and sunlight they make their food in forms of proteins etc etc.
so its important
but its also important that we keep balance on the co2 levels in atmosphere otherwise it will just bring doom to earth.
carbon dioxide-is important to us because humans need oxygen to live as well as plants need carbon dioxide in photosynthesis. humans and animals take in oxygen, given off from trees and plants. as humans and animals uses energy, respiration occurs and they give off carbon dioxide which trees and plants need in photosynthesis. without this cycle, or one factor is missing, living things cannot survive because oxygen and carbon dioxide are both useful in our daily lives. we must also be aware that trees and plants are very important to us and we must take care of them...
For a start it is the main source of carbon for all known terrestrial life forms and most aquatic life. The carbon is generally extracted from the atmosphere, or absorbed from the ocean, by photosynthesising life forms. They then turn this fixed carbon into useful chemicals. A small amount is used to build new cells while most is broken down again to release energy so that the life form may continue to live.
Secondly it plays a vital role as a greenhouse gas, allowing part of the sun's radiation to be trapped inside Earths atmosphere. This helps to keep the planet warm. Without such protection temperatures would be generally too low to sustain life in most places of the globe.
Thirdly it has a useful role when dissolved in water. When it is dissolved in water carbon dioxide forms a weak acid. This acid is found in rain water and helps to dissolve and erode rocks. This can help certain life forms to gain purchase in that environment and colonize it.
These are just a few examples I can think of, there will no doubt be more.
Carbon dioxide is an important greenhouse gas. This means it holds heat enough to keep the earth warm enough for life. Without it the earth would freeze.
Carbon dioxide. The increase of carbon dioxide is the cause of global warming.
The most important gas in this case is carbon dioxide.
- carbon dioxide is released in the atmosphere: - part of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is absorbed by the biosphere - part of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is absorbed by body of waters
Charles David Keeling discovered that: - the concentration of carbon dioxide in atmosphere has an important seasonal variation - after 1960 he discovered that the concentration of carbon dioxide in atmosphere increase year after year, caused very probable by anthropogenic activities
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make food from carbon dioxide and water in the presence of light. Through photosynthesis, plants remove carbon dioxide from the air, and release oxygen for us to breathe.

If you mean 'breathe' out, then no. They take in carbon dioxide, and with the presence of water, go through photosynthesis and convert it into oxygen and carbohydrates, which they then release into the atmosphere.

trees play an important role in maintaining the level of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
The most important source of carbon entering atmosphere is industries. Living things, burning fossil fuels and automobiles are other sources of carbon dioxide.
Venus has the thickest carbon dioxide atmosphere.
The most important gas in this case is carbon dioxide.

Mars is the terrestrial planet with a thin carbon dioxide atmosphere. Venus also has an atmosphere of carbon dioxide, but it is very thick.
