When can be communication an art?

Though i find the word art greatly overused in today's society, i believe communication is an art because it is creative, in the sense that there is no right and wrong in communication, you form and structure sentences to mean different things, and if one is savvy at communication, one uses different forms of diction, figures of speech and tone to imply different meanings and address different people.

All artists want to communicate to other people in general or at times an artist wishes to communicate to other artists. Art communicates by:

A. visually presenting a work of art such as a painting, sculpture, or perhaps a drawing;

B. Authors and poets communicate via the written word;

C. Writers of music communicate to musicians, and

D. Musicians communicate to others by the sound of their voices or Musical Instruments.

So, yes communication is part of art itself. Also, we have people with degrees as example in "Communications". These people often wish to convey an idea or perhaps the best way to convey that idea. A television commercial, for example, wants to, among other things, have a viewer buy a product. Often times what attracts a viewer to watch a commercial is the art behind the communication of the product. An artistic method of communicating the idea can be in itself an art.

A person is asked "what do you like about this commercial?" The answer could very well be, "The interior design of the automobile is pleasing to the eye and looks practical as well".
