Why is deforestation bad?

Deforestation is Awful

Forests and trees are the number one source of oxygen on our planet. They take in carbon dioxide and convert it into the breathable oxygen in the atmosphere. Also, there are hundreds of thousands of insects, animals and other plants and vegetation which depend on these environments. As they die it upsets the entire balance of nature and the food chain species die off rapidly. The weather all over the globe also depends on the density of our tropical forests to keep down the green house gases. As the trees are killed off the carbon dioxide levels increase. Those areas turn into desert-like plains and the atmosphere heats up. We are slowly killing mother earth.
