There are many reasons. There can be drug problems (alcohol/street drugs or even prescription drug abuse); money problems, stress raising children and keeping jobs. A person can be brought up in an environment of mental/physical abuse or have no family at all. There are so many reasons. There are more people moving into the United States and Canada and it's a noted fact by studies performed by scientists that we are getting to be more like rats jammed into a maze. With more population comes more crime, more traffic jams, too much noise and when we have to face this day after day one comes home feeling like they have been through a full-fledged war zone. When land is used in leaps and bounds, they no longer build spacious houses, but build up (tall apartment buildings and condos) mainly because you can squeeze more people per capita. The Baby Boomers are seeking refuse by selling their homes and moving out of the larger cities for peace and quiet. Even some younger couples are seeking smaller towns to raise their children in a lower crime area.
