Without gravity, there would be no atmosphere to skydive in (or breathe!). All the air would simply disperse into space. The pull of gravity gets weaker, the further you are from the Earth, however this is not noticeable by a skydiver jumping from 15,000ft. Gravity helps the air to stay close to the earth. This air can be manipulated to turn, move forwards & backwards, increase and decrease freefall speeds, remain stable and of course help to deploy the parachute.
So yes gravity is vitally important to skydiving and life.
Gravity and acceleration is important to keep mass aggregates together in the Universe. Gravity structures mass aggregates into solar systems and galaxies.
The only way to describe an object where it is only affected by gravity is the say it is in Free Fall. This is really not possible but is often misinterpreted when skydiving but the wind is pushing up on your body. The only way this happens is if there is no friction. The ISS (International Space Station) is said to be in free fall but its motion is a combination of inertia and gravity.
When a body experiences free fall, it technically means that it only feels 1 force: gravity. Since this does not exist within earth's atmosphere, many people use the term casually when referring to feeling only gravity and wind resistance, such as in skydiving.
Without gravity, nothing would be still..trust me, we need gravity for many reasons..I'm not gonna go in depth

If first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Skydiving is always cool ;)
What is Gravity on mountains an important cause of?
There is nothing like skydiving in Bangladesh.
no, skydiving Elsinore is in riverside county
A skydiving ball is a small object that contains a skydiving script, sitting on the ball will simulate a skydive.
Indoor skydiving is currently not available.
because of the gravity of the earth
