bec of long moment arm
easy answer is... Can you stick your finger between the timing cover and the back of the water pump?? no= short yes= long
Yes, but not very well. The small pump within a pressure washer is designed to PUSH water, not pull it- and the rate of flow is very small. It would pump a long time to move a major amount of water. The pump will also not handle dirty water very well.
First you will need to know what size the engine is. 3.3L or 3.5l? The 3.3L is an external water pump and easy to replace. The other is not so easy as an internal water pump.
The water pump is located in the middle of the front of the engine. The water pump is fairly easy to reach and replace.
easy
No
Yes it is, as long as the 350 pump is not a late model pump.
That would be a long shaft water pump.
yes
No! No!
Take off old water pump and put on new very easy.
A pump works against gravity by pulling water up through a spicet. As you "pump" the handle the air is removed from the line so ultimately in time you are pulling up the water from the reserve.
