Why is it necessary to control carbon emissions?

[Edit]

Answer

Simple answer .... change the cars we drive (no oil products) but this is a big problem and under the control of the government and oil producers as well as the Automakers Unions.

Koichi Hamamto, post doctoral Research Scientist has developed a high sensitive nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor with a rapid response.

Great efforts in the U.S. and Canada are trying to develop clean burn gasoline-fueled vehicles to comply with demand for reducing CO2 emissions that produce more NOx emissions than conventional engines.

Diesel vehicles are expected to reduce NOx emissions and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

The truth of the matter is there has been for years many different ways to have clean fuel, but the inventors have been poo-pooed or paid out. This is not my opinion but '60 Minutes' had a program on this very topic.

Just the other day I saw several people with electric cars and some places set up where these electric cars could be charged up again. The people that owned these vehicles were quite happy with the results; no noise, smooth riding and the vehicle went quite aways before having to be charged again. What happened? Tow trucks came and got these cars because one reason was the Automotive Union felt this would put the American car makers out of business. This is the most ridiculous thing one could ever conceive. It's called progress and these car manufacturers could still make their money providing such cars as the electric cars or the fuel made from corn by a simple $50 piece of equipment on the engine of everyone's vehicles.. What's up? Why oil of course! They'd lose too much in gas prices.
