As a parent, I have found school uniforms highly impractical! I have discovered that I have the right to apply for an exemption to uniform requirements at any public school, and have done so, for a number of reasons:
1. It costs a lot of money. It is generally more expensive to buy uniform clothes than Target clothes.
2. It prevents my kids from learning the practicalities of dressing themselves every day, and learning to buy clothing within a budget.
3. It is harder to make sure the right clothes are ready in the morning, rather than kids being able to select from available clean clothes.
4. We still need enough clothes for vacations.
In my experience, uniforms are usually most supported by wealthier people who like the image of conformity. They like to teach their kids that people only belong in a community when they look the same as everyone else. I'm glad my kids are allowed to look different and still belong! And I know they're not afraid to stand out academically, either, or voice their own opinions; I'm glad they're not being molded into sheep!
unless your school has a uniform then wear it but not then dont
Generally, students who wear a school uniform do better in school.
German children do not have to wear a school uniform in most cases. :)
Two types: Uniform: it is mandatory that you wear the uniform that the school has provided, and no changes to it. Non-Uniform: You can wear what you like, aslong as it isn't offensive, rude or in-appropriate you can wear it.
you wouldn't have to wear the school uniform because they suck and they cost to much!!
To show the identity of the school , we shall wear our uniform
