The reason why this question has not been answered yet is because it is simply not true that most women are jealous! Jealousy comes from lack of self confidence or feelings of low self esteem which can lead to thoughts that "someone better than me" is attracting "my guy". In developed countries, especially in the US where women are now being recognized for their equality to men in just about all fields and positions, self confidence in women is soaring and jealousy is less and less prevailing. I am one of these women and can also attest for many many other women I know and have known over the past 50+ years.
