Its because the main job of the drug is to alter ones perception this is why music sounds better. at high doses it is possible to hallucinate eg colours brighter strobing and light patterning with indicas but the weird thing about cannabis is that it has all three properties. Depressent- Relaxes muscles, may make you sleepy Stimulant- Increased heart rate, racing thoughts, Sativas incres energy Psychedellic- Brigter colurs(high dose) time dilation, time compression when looking at cars (high dose) Odd thoughts(high dose) This is probably why cannabis has been accused of being a cause of psychosis which actually what happened a high dose was taken and the person freaked due to alterations in perception. Cannabis is a mild hallucinogen but increases with dose.

Are shrooms a depressant hallucinogen or stimulant?

Psilocybin is mostly a stimulant but it can also act as a depressant. It stimulates parts of the brain, producing its hallucinogenic effects. Psilocybin also stimulates stretch reflex (resist relaxing muscles), increases heart rate in many cases, and dilates pupils, but it is inconsistent. For example, lower blood pressure is a depressive effect which is common, but it is also common (to a lesser degree) to experience higher blood pressure.

There are many mushrooms which contain psilocybin (along with psilocin, baeocystin and others) that are illegal. The majority of the time the psilocybin is not extracted (although it can be) but rather the whole mushroom is eaten.

explain psychedelic mushrooms: Effects and risks?

Effect - The effects of psilocybin are generally similar to those of LSD. They include altered perception of time and space and intense changes in mood and feeling.Risk - Some people who take psilocybin may experience persistent, distressing alterations to the way they see the world. These often take the form of a visual flashback, which is a traumatic recall of an intensely upsetting experience. People can continue to experience flashbacks anywhere from weeks to years after using the hallucinogen. Physicians now diagnose this condition as hallucinogen-persisting perception disorder.

Would shrooms show up in a mj test i do not do them but i think that my friends put some in my food and i get tested tommrow for marawana would that show up as mj please answer someone?

No way bro, your in the clear. Marijuana's active hallucinogen that is testedt for is Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Magic Mushrooms or "Shrooms" active hallucinogen to test for would usually be Psilocybin. Most Drug Screenings do NOT test for Shrooms (Psilocybin) its way to costly for labs to put them on their tests and usually a waste of time considering what it is. Again, NO WORRIES about it unless you've done other drugs or actually smoked or ingested Marijuana itself.
