There could be a variety of reasons for your period being late. Sometimes stress or hormonal changes could also be a reason. It is important you consult a physician as to make sure there isn't any more serious situations or conditions occuring. Also it is always best if there is a chance you may be pregnant to do a variety of tests - especially having one done by your physician.
