Unless Scrooge changes his life will be miserable and he will never be happy or rest in peace...

But if Scrooge does change he could have a wonderful life. :)

I predict that he has really learned his lesson and that he will change, become closer to his family, and maybe even get married.

After his strange night of time travelling, Scrooge's future life is likely to be transformed. He will likely become a kinder, more compassionate, and generous person, investing more time and resources in helping others and repairing his relationships. The visions from the night will serve as a wake-up call for him to change his ways and embrace a more fulfilling and joyful existence.

The warning from his once friend Jacob Marley about the "chains he forged in life " and the horrors of walking the earth for ever as a taunted spirit hang heavily in his mind.

When taken by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to come (death) to the "unknown" grave site Scrooge begs to know if the scenes he sees are as they will be or if they can be changed if he changes.

The "Ghost" never actually states either but allows Scrooge to make the decision himself. Scrooge fears a solitary death with no one to care for him or think about him after his demise and of course the possibility of walking the earth for eternity.

Scrooge fears death and what the future holds for him if he does not change his ways.

It is stated in the final paragraph of Stave 5 that Scrooge was as good as his word, indeed he was better for it was said that no one kept Christmas like dear old Scrooge thereafter
