it is because of the market acceptability of raw sugar as export. next is that refined sugar have high moisture contents because of its purity.so therefore refined sugar could no longer be stocked in container vans. in comparison with raw sugar, raw has although well known for its impurities, it has been accepted as healthy sugar for consumption, its process is centrifuged, it can be stored because of its high granulated contents.. with a different comparison to refined, refined has already been made with different chemical unhealthy components within the product. highly moisturated because of its contents and could only be transferred or shipped in minimal volume in comparison to raw that the longevity of its quality could maintain whatever the span of days or period of months of storage..
