∙ 15y agoSeagulls saved the first Mormon pioneers in Utah when a "plague" of crickets threatened to destroy their first crop, The seagulls arrived just in time to eat the crickets when the Mormons thought they were doomed to starve over winter without a harvest.

∙ 14y agoLegend has it that when the Mormon Pioneers arrived and started planting crops, there was a cricket infestation and their crops began to be eaten. They prayed for help and God sent the sea gulls to eat the crickets.
The story has never been proven as fact, and is only found in a handfull of pioneer journals, but its the only explanation there is for why there are so many seagulls in Utah.
Utah adopted the California Gull as it's state bird because there are so many of them in the state and because of this legend.

If you have one going on you can take RE-AZO and it will take the burning sensations away. Then keep drinking cranberry juice.
