The species has been made endangered due to pollution, over-hunting, and habitat loss.
The last surviving female of the entire species now lives in Suzhou, China, along with a male turtle. The female laid around 100 eggs, and half appeared fertilized, but due to a calcium deficiency in her diet, all eggs failed to hatch, the embryos dying in early development.
If the Hawksbill turtles become extinct, they will no longer exist on our planet. They eat a variety of jellyfish and those jellyfish would lose a natural predator.
turtle and tortoises
If an animal in a ecosystem chain became extinct - the WHOLE ecosystem would collapse because, believe it or not, every single species counts. For example, if a bird species in a forest became extinct - everything that ate the bird would die without their "food" and everything that ate them would die and so on and so forth.
every onr in the food chain will die lol i direction rock
If you have never seen Bee Movie after the bees stopped working or in your case if they became extinct nothing could be pollinated so the flowers and other plant life would not be able to grown, and if the trees can't grow there will be no oxygen for us to breathe
If lemurs became extinct quickly, their niche would a cause a loss of predation. Also, those things that the lemurs eat would also increase exponentially.
the things that ate them would eventually die out too if they didn't have another food source and then it would effect the whole habitat.
then the place were it came from may loose tourists or people may think less of them because theycould not re inhabit an endangered species.
