An RF bypass is a small box fitted to the back on a cable decoder box. It's function is to 'strip off' the Analogue TV channels from the cable feed & provide them to your TV as with a normal airial. The pre wire for a ceiling fan light should be made with a three wire cable. This cable will have a red, black, and white wire as main conductors. This cable will also have a bare ground wire.
