In my opinion because it contains Castor, the star known as "The Double-double", an easy split in a small telescope. There is also a much fainter star which orbit the Double-double which make it a triple. But spectroscopic analysis shows EACH of the 3 stars is a double making it a 6 star system. That interests me.
