What is it when your dogs throw up worms?

Yes, dogs can throw up. They throw up if they drink to much water, eat something that's not suppose to be eaten, or sometimes Labs can have "turn." If this happens you should take your dog to the vet.

Was it just a regular worm? Like an earthworm? Most likely, your dog was eating grass (grass helps digestion) and the unlucky worm was above ground. Your dog might have eaten it with the grass by accident. Or, the worm was wriggling on the ground and your dog was playing with it, and swallowed it on purpose for fun. Probably tape worm. Most other worms are microscopic, although I think I've heard of round worms getting big enough to see in vomit. Regardless, pick up a wormer at a feed store or veterinary supply, or take the dog to the vet. Any type of worms will rob your dog of nutrients, and cause him to be unhealthy.

He is extremely sick and is suffering from a very very very bad worm infection. Get him to a doctor ASAP and treat him for worm infection. He might end up throwing up blood and his condition might deteriorate if left untreated.
