The sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. Such as when light passes through a clear fluid holding small particles in suspension, the shorter blue wavelengths are scattered more strongly than the red. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

The light that comes from the sun is white light, this is a mixture of all colours that the human eye can detect. There are also some other EMV but mostly they get stopped by the atmosphere or they go to the pols because of earths magnetic field. The atmosphere -> ozone (O3) absorbs the blue light and lets through the mixture without the blue light. The blue light disperses through the atmosphere and the light that goes through is yellow. The sky is blue because of the O3.

because of the atmosphere around the planet. like if you look up at the night sky and use a telescope the atmosphere sort of makes the picture a little fuzzy. the color of the ocean reflects on the atmosphere.
