Geography is very important to an economist bcos it helps us to understand how to get more resources from the environment without necessarily ruining the environment. Its the job of the economist to get more resources which brings about increase in productivity and in turn reduce poverty to the bearest minimum and that is where geography comes in because it gives us insight about our environment.
