Why is the sun yellow? |
[Edit] |
Answer
The color of a star, ie. the sun is related to how hot it burns. The whiter the color, the hotter the temperatures. The redder the color, the cooler it burns (compared to the sun). Our sun is in the middle of this range.
Answer
It is yellow because of fire. Sun is just a big ball of gas
Answer
The sun isn't really yellow. The color yellow is a purely human interpretation of a collection of radiation that hits the retinae of our eyes and gets processed by our visual cortex.
Answer
Rayleigh scattering, the same phenomenon that makes the sky blue.
