The first move: The Terminator is rated R due to brief nudity (only in the very beginning of the movie), graphic violence, language, and adult content.
The adult content happens during the film once Sarah and Kyle reach the Tiki Hotel, so I'd suggest skipping that part if you'd rather not see it.
The director's cut version has some nudity in it unlike the original theatrical version. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fic violence and action, and language (theatrical version). Rated R for some violence and brief nudity (director's cut). I don't know why the rating only said some violence for the director's cut version and intense for the theatrical version. It's kind of weird. You might as well buy it on Blu-Ray to find out. It has both versions. Hope this helps!
"Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991) is rated R for strong sci-fi action and violence, and for language.
