It is only just a tiny bit, but enough to give a reaction on your tongue/mouth to produce a bit of saliva after you have been drinking a can, which contributes to the "thirst quenching" feeling.

Because of chemicals inside the coke make it green if you know ur counter on Acids neurals and bases then you would know that is a base well obvisully coke is not a base so they add more chemicals that give it that Fizz. Bye one Of Mrs.Baileys students!! Tupelo Ms

This is from the Coke page which makes it look like Cola has much less phosphorus than other foods. Although I don't question their numbers, I suspect that the issue is that Cola contains phosphorus without calcium which may make it dangerous?
