When (if) Charles comes to the throne after his Mother Queen Elizabeth passes away, he will be king regnant and his wife Camilla will be queen consort. Buckingham Palace has indicated that when (and if) Charles ascends the throne, Camilla shall be styled Princess Consort. Therefore a King and Queen may not occur until Charles son The Duke of Cambridge and his wife the Duchess take the throne.

After Queen Elizabeth passes on, her son Charles (William's father) will then reign over England. After Charles' death, William will then be King of England, though there is always the possibility that Kate, who is not of noble birth (meaning she does not already have the title of duchess, lady, or baroness), will be given the title of duchess upon William accepting dukedom, meaning she will not be a princess of England. However, the Queen is able to, at any time, bestow this honor upon Kate should she choose to do so.

Yes England will have another King, once Queen Elizabeth dies Prince Charles will become King, and once Prince Charles passes away Prince William will inherit the throne. But of course Queen Elizabeth has the power to choose one of the two before she passes on if she wishes. Technically, this is incorrect. There hasn't been a king of England for 350 years. Current monarchs are king (or queen) of the United Kingdom - not just England.

Because there has always been one and there is an established constitutional monarchy which has been in place since the signing of the magna carta.
