Why is there a short squeaking sound in the dashboard area when your 2002 G20 shifts into 3rd gear?

I am having warranty work on my 2002 G20 manual transmission car. I am the second owner so I've been trying to take advantage of the problems. One of which was vibration in the upper dash area. As it turns out, this problem is a "noted" problem that Infiniti has communicated to it's dealerships.

I'm not sure, but I think you should take the time to see your dealership to see if they will fix the probem even if you have exceeded the 4yr/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. They may honor your request. For me, it was a very annoying probem that happened when ever the engine was rough or I hit a bump.

Please contact me at Kerryktk@aol.com as I need your help too. My Manual transmission has a high velocity buzz running through the stick.(This tight buzz can be felt in the gas pedal too) More so, in my opinion than it should be. Does your car have this problem too?
