water pollution is bad for our lakes because our lakes contain most of our drinking water and if we keep polluting it we will soon have no more clean water in our lakes. Industries have been dumping chemicals into the lakes and have been polluting it alot. 40 million people alone in Canada use lakes for playing and swimming. heath issues have been getting worse over the years to the people who live near the lakes and the chemicals in the water are getting stronger and more dangerous.
