It's running hot because it is leaking coolant. Find where it is leaking and repair. If it is leaking at the water pump, replace the pump.

you may have a problem with the cylaner head gasket. if you have an empty radiator and it all goes out of the exhaust, the problem will be here. the solution is to get a new head gasket to replace the old one and probably to have the head gasket skimmed as well.

Why is your car leaking water? Car running hot oil has mixed with water what is the suggestion? Your car was running hot you stop driving it because you notice the water linking back out you had a new water pump put on and some hose the car is running good just sitting But when put it in drive?
