Some people find kittens cute, however others don't. I think it is probably the fact they are small, furry, mammals and appear to be helpless meaning we probably want to look after them.
Interesting fact- A cat can produce a noise at the exact pitch of a babies cry, possibly making us more likely to give them what they want.

kittens are just too cute, when they have the big fluffy head, i just love the fluff!
my cat was a black cat and i just love black cats now, all because of him, his fur was amazing, so soft and shiny.
it helps that they are their own little personalities and have their own likes and dislikes, and even their not so good traits are incredibly interesting to watch and experience
they play with anything, that's mental to watch as is when they can find excitement out of themselves moving a motionless object!
my boyf and i both agree that cats have something that just makes them the cutest animal in existence to us.
(and a lot of people seem to agree due to the mass amounts of people who have cats)
AnswerIt's the baby thing too. Cats, even as adults, have eyes that are large in proportion to their heads and that triggers the need (in most adult humans) to parent them. Most humans are so hardwired to respond to this that they react to just about anything even if it's going to eat them - have a look at sci-fi movies/Horror and especially the Manga Cartoons and see what the different types of facial structure do for you. Didn't we all love the aliens in Close Encounters of the Third Kind and even ET who was on vaguely humaniod did it the the general audience.And, on the other hand, I think that all cats are wonderful!
They were made like that. Evalution is what made them so adorable! ^.^

∙ 10y agoKittens are so cute and when they are only a few weeks old they already start to play around! - Kittens' eyes open at about 7-10 days old and like babies, kittens have disproportionately large eyes for their head, which is perceived as cute and actually designed to awaken affection in humans by our genetic programming. Ultimately it ensures that we will care for these small beings that are unable to take care of themselves yet.
