Actually; my theory is that you dont have any bones (or blood for a fact) in your nose. If you dont have any blood pumping in a certain part, yes, it's going to feel cold. Also, some noses just like someones ears do react differently. No; I dont think it's unusual at all. I'm trying to find out the same thing. My mom's nose gets cold even inside the house but her body is so warm. The best answer I've gotten for her is that one's nose is considered an extremity just like ears, fingers and toes. As such, it has the poorest circulation of blood. Although, one can exercise one's fingers and toes to improve circulation, one cannot easily exercise the nose and ears to stimulate blood flow. One's nose contains a large amount of nerve endings and so it is sensitive to temperature. It is logical that the cold would cause one's nerve endings to relay cold to the brain and one's brain would relay back the message of pain for the purpose of telling one to warm the nose up! In cases of frostbite, it is common to lose one's nose. That is the best information I have found to date. That answer doesn't satisfy me though! There must be some other reason besides those outlined above!

The tip of your nose extends out from your face, and its surface area/volume is high (which means that this is a large part of your face on the outside, but has a large empty cavity on the inside). The effect can be cold skin. Your nose also comes into contact with the outside environment quite often (more often than many other parts of the face or body), and doesn't have much insulation, which means it can't resist temperature change.

Answer

It seems that way (perhaps it is just a little cooler because the cool air goes into that part of the body). If your mouth were open to breath instead of your nose, then your lips would be cooler too. If you touch other parts of your exposed body, it seems cooler outside than you feel inside.

It could be a sign of a cold or something similar to that. Or it could just be that you have some cold temperature or the A/C on.

because we don't have someone to warm them up for us :(

Because the nose (and ears) is mainly cartilage, it doesn't need as much blood supply as other organs. When the normal blood supply is sent to other organs (such as during digestion of a meal or strenuous exercise) it may leave the nose feeling cold.

It's important to protect your nose and ears when going outside in the winter because they can get frostbite very easily since their blood supply is already very small.

because the circulation of blood in the nose is not very strong leading to the nose being more at the mercy of the elements.

Well it depends on what part of your nose because if you mean the outside it probably would depend on the weather and if you mean the inside I don't know as I don't pick my nose

Blood circulation does not reach the tip of your nose ( and ears ) thus causing the tip of your nose to be cold all the time

What can you do to not feel a nose piercing?

I pierced my own nose, and all I did was let a safety pin sit in rubbing alcohol, then I rubbed the alcohol on my nose, and let about 2 ice cubes melt on my nose. I got as far through as I could without feeling a thing, then I took more ice cubes and kept trying to get through until the numbness went away.
