Why is your rabbit drinking excessively?

[Edit]

minniemin here

My rabbit did that and i wanted to know why too i found out that she just had babies and i didnt know it. Also depending on the breed they can get dehydrated during the exsessive heat. Just be sure that your rabbit has enough water and if your rabbit does this repeatidly take him/her to their vet for a check up.

Answer

A rabbit might be drinking more because of the heat. This can also be a sign of failing kidneys, especially in an older rabbit.
