Why wont Maplestory let you make an account?

Usually cos you're to young. If you're playing MapleSEA, and is already 55 or something, someone already created one using your IC.

You usually can't sign up for MapleStory unless your 13+ or fake your birthday age. Another reason could be that your account name is already taken so try another name to use. It depends for the region you live in. Some versions require specific things like MapleSea for an example.

One simple reason why you can't go on Maplestory is because there could be a server maintenance going on. It happens every few times each month. You can always check if the server is on if you go to Maplestory home page and scroll down the page. Admins always put up notices about what's happening around Maplestory. They even write down the time when the maintenance is going to be finished. How helpful the admins are! :)

If that still doesn't help, try restarting your computer.
