pH determines how effective your chlorine is. The higher your chlorine, the less effective & vise versa.
The 2nd reason is, once the pH drops below 7.0, pool water becomes acidic. The water will eat away at the pool surface, pump & filter.
Hope that helps!! Also, at the other end of the scale . . a pH of 8.0 or higher the water then becomes alkaline and will deposit scale on all surfaces of the pool and equipment. Both high and low pH make the water aggressive. Meaning that the water, chemically speaking, will attack all surfaces of the pool or it's equipment. At above 8.0 the water also feels uncomfortable or may make you itch and will deposit scale which can feel rough to the touch. At 7.0 or lower the water etches and will also feel uncomfortable and make you itch. Both will dry the skin or make it feel dry. Proper pH balance and Total Alkalinity balance will lengthen the life of chlorine somewhat. Balanced water in not only good for the pool but good for the swimmers.
Chlorine can only work within a certain pH range. If the pH is too high or low the Chlorine will not work. In addition, algae likes pH ranges above 8.0. So if you maintain the pH below 7.8 the possibility of algae growing is minimized.
it is importatant to check 3 things in your pool as least once a week.
Sanitizer (chlorine or bromine)
pH level 7.2 to 7.6
and Total Alkalinity(TA) 80 to 120 ppm
If the pH drops to low the chlorine will become way more effective and will then in combination start to attact the heater and even the liner of a pool. It may take a while but trust me this environment is not a good one.
Also, with a low pH you will burn your eyes, and make you skin itch like crazy.
Many times burning eyes on swimmer is blamed on chlorine but it's not true, It's usually the low pH.
Hope that helps.
Most pools use chlorine as a disinfectant and the pH level has a significant effect in the disinfectant properties of chlorine. The active disinfectant in chlorine is hypochlorous acid. The proportion of hypochlorous acid present in chlorine is greater at lower pH levels. However, if the pH level goes too low, it will become corrosive and start attacking the fabric of surfaces it comes into contact with. Therefore, there ideal recommended range for pH levels in Swimming Pools is 7.2 - 7.6.
you will be able to swim easyly you will be able to swim easyly you will be able to swim easyly
If it s outside of that range, The water may irritate eyes and cause swimmer's ear.

Yes, some people keep sea horses as pets. They are not easy animals to keep because they require good water quality, constant water flow and a special diet. If you want to keep seahorses as pets you should start by researching the care of other saltwater animals. The more you know about the species of animal you want to keep the better.

yes, the algae feeds on the chlorine.. must get rid of algae, then bring up chlorine level
sodium must be kept under kerosene
What variables must be kept constant
they must tie it in a bun above their head to avoid chlorine Nothing if they want. Race doesn't have to do with what people put in their hair for swimming.
first you must test for ph with a ph testing kit, then if the water is a good ph level, add 2L chlorine for every 100L, then wait for 2 days, then get in the pool and it should be fine! ;) my number's: 0473897234
The amount of time a potentially hazardous food is held within the temperature danger zone should kept as short as possible.
Because the line conductors are uninsulated, and must be kept at a safe distance above ground level.
