You've heard this about the sky. You're WRONG!
Picture this - have you ever seen a blue sea underneath grey skies? Exactly. The sea may not be as bright a blue colour, because less light is reflected off the clouds. It's actually still blue, rather than pure grey or white. Go Scuba diving on a cloudy day and see for yourself.
The sea is blue because of the molecules in it, the same reason why the sky is blue. But look up that question...
They live in the sea. the water color is blue They live in the sea. the water color is blue
sea water is in blue colour because of the sky's reflection
the color of ocean is blue because the blue color splits more and the color of sky becomes blue and it reflects the blue color and the color of sea becomes blue
The colour of the sea is greenish blue because of the reflection of the sky
Because the water reflects the color of the sky, and the skies are blue.
blue
It reflect the sky, or the water is too deep.
The sea water is a greenish blue colour, (The greenish colour comes from the abundant plankton that thrive within the water.)
People color raindrops blue because the ocean is blue and the ocean is water. The ocean is blue because the blue sky reflects on the water turning it blue. Water is really clear. The ocean is really clear. Since the sea is water and raindrops are water people assume that raindrops are blue and color them blue. Some people know raindrops are not blue but color them anyway because they want to add more color in their drawings.
because the sea reflects the COLOUR of the sky
The color of sea water varies with the location. Near the shore, the water stirred up in the surf is more greenish, but way out to sea, deep water is more dark blue.
it is blue The color of sea is blue because the blue radiation is not absorbed by water. Red, orange, yellow an green radiations are absorbed and only the blue remain for our eyes.
